Oyinkansola Fatima Momoh (OFM) is a cheerful, life-long learner passionate about the wellbeing of women and girls.
She holds a Diploma and Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and a Post Graduate Diploma (Distinction) in Counselling from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She has also completed the levels 1 & 2 training in Islamic Psychology and Counselling from Albalagh Academy.
She has worked with women in various capacities which include, image development, business development, skills acquisition and most importantly, mental health.
In 2017, She opened and managed a women-only development hub which was equipped with a library, workspace and lounge. The Hub offered on-demand counselling and hosted over 200 women at weekly gatherings aimed at educating women and fostering togetherness.
As a life-long seeker she continues to learn with the intention to benefit herself and others.
Modalities
With a background in philosophy and training in various modalities, Oyinkansola embraces an eclectic approach. Her preferred modalities are:
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
- Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
- Prophetic-Style Counselling (Islamic Faith Based)
She also utilises elements of psychoanalysis when required. Overall, her approach is tailored to meet the needs of the client at every stage of therapy.
